Excavator Pipeline Safety Program offers 811 education, one-on-one time with pipeline reps

 

Excavation damage is a leading cause of significant pipeline accidents, resulting in property damage, injuries and fatalities. Can shovels and pipelines coexist safely? Whether excavating with a shovel or a four-ton backhoe — excavators are responsible for ensuring that pipelines and other underground facilities are not damaged when digging. This free training teaches current 811 damage prevention and safe digging methods for excavations near pipelines and gas distribution systems.
